Returning to In-Person Worship at Cascade Covenant Church
At Cascade Covenant Church we are working to return to in-person worship services, while also delivering an online worship experience for you to participate in. As a result of this new hybrid experience, our worship service will consist of pre-recorded videos as well as live elements of music and the spoken word. We are following all State of Washington and CDC guidelines and taking a number of precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at church and to keep people safe.
In Person Services returned Sunday, April 25th, 2021!
Sunday Morning at Cascade Covenant Church
Preparing for Your Visit
Before coming to church, check yourself for symptoms of Covid. If you are not feeling well, have a fever or any COVID19 symptoms listed by the CDC, please remain at home and continue to worship with us online. If you or a family member have been in close contact with someone who is suspected or has been confirmed to have COVID-19, please remain at home for 14 days following your last exposure with that person. We look forward to you joining us when you are feeling better!
Wearing Your Mask
Plan to wear a mask while inside the church and maintain physical distancing at all times. Prior to your coming to church, please check all the health questions below. These are directly from the State of Washington recommendations for places of worship.
Arriving at Church
Greeters will be there to welcome you as you arrive at the front door. Please be aware that our greeters are currently required to ask if you have screened yourself for Covid symptoms prior to entering the church. We will not be taking temperatures.
Greeters inside will help you get to your seat for worship. The worship center is marked off to put families together and maintain physical distancing with others during the service. Please say ‘thank you’ to our volunteers who are serving you on Sunday morning.
During the Service
The Sunday service will look and feel a bit different, but its focus will be worshipful and on Jesus Christ.
Departing from Church
Per Washington State requirements at this time, we will not gather in the foyer following the service, but we encourage you to see and talk with friends outside. Our Pastors will be available inside and outside the building if you need to meet with a Pastor.
After Church and Throughout Your Week
If you contract Covid following attending services at Cascade Covenant Church, it is urgent that you notify us so we can let other attendees know and inform them that they may have been exposed to Covid. We will follow all State of Washington guidelines in our Covid safety plan posted at church in the worship center and offices.
Based on guidance from Washington State and the CDC, we recommend you do not attend Sunday morning worship if you are in any of these at-risk categories:
If you are uncomfortable in any way or for any reason attending in person at this time
If you have flu-like symptoms, fever/chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, nausea or vomiting, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion/runny nose or diarrhea.
In the past 14 days have been in close contact with someone with flu-like/Covid symptoms in the past 14 days.
If you have serious chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease
If you are immunosuppressed, for example, have recent or upcoming surgeries, are on autoimmune treatments including steroids, have impaired heart, kidney, or liver function, or people going through cancer treatment.
If you are a direct caregiver of at-risk individuals.
