Genesis 2:22-25 "Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they will become one flesh. The man and his wife were both naked and the felt no shame." Complimentary, authentic, and vulnerable, while united and safe in relationship together.
We value the marriage covenant that is established between man, woman, and God and strongly encourage couples to take advantage of the resources that CCC offers to support, nurture, and protect this covenant. Our vision is that couples will be inspired into deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as they focus on developing Fully Alive marriages. Marriages that are continually growing in relational depth, where both the husband and wife are striving to become servant lovers to each other, following the example of Christ in his love for and service to the church. Marriages which recognize, value, and encourage the complimentary role that each spouse plays in completing the other in their relationship. Marriages where couples can be vulnerable and authentic in their weakness and, yet, pursue the richness, fulfillment, and strength that only God breathes into the union of a husband and wife.
