Opportunities to Serve

Give-Back Sunday

The Gathering

Day of ACTS

It's not about what we can do, but what you can do!  Our hope is to inspire individuals, families and groups from within CCC to serve our community.

We have partnered with a broad range of community organizations to identify needs on an ongoing basis.  Our hope is to come alongside these organizations, listening to and responding to needs in our valley.  These needs have been categorized based upon area of focus, type of resource needed and depth and time frame of commitment.

Doorways Is a Resource!

Our hope is to be a significant, meaningful neighbor within our community
Our desire is to have purpose and value in our community. The church has often fallen short of this. At CCC, we understand that loving our neighbors involves putting our faith into action and by doing this we can become relevant to the people we serve.

Our desire is to develop genuine, authentic relationships with individuals and organizations currently serving our community.
We understand that integrity, trust and reliability are central in building authentic relationships. We believe in being who we say we are and doing what we say we’ll do. By listening to the needs of our community and making a commitment to help in addressing those needs, we hope to participate in a two-way, authentic relationship.

Our hope is to be an active, vital neighbor in our community, fully alive and engaged.
Our goal is to become a vital neighbor that engages with our community and works to make it better; a neighbor that seeks out and listens to the needs and responds accordingly. We know that our vitality is reflective of our actions. We understand that being vital means becoming intentionally active.

We seek to inspire our body to embrace the call to live beyond ourselves.
Participating in God’s mission is not just occasional. It is a life commitment that is daily and local, actively unfolding wherever we live. We have been sent and are called to partner with God as He reaches our friends, neighbors, community and world. Motivated by love, we are called to be the light of Jesus in the Snoqualmie Valley. As people bear witness to our lives, Christ’s light will shine forward and God will receive the praise.
Matthew 5:14-16, John 1:14-16, Acts 1:8, Matthew 25:31-46, Mark 12:28-31, John 13:34-35, John 20:21, Ephesians 2:8-10

Our goal is to support and serve alongside each other as we, together, reach beyond our walls into the Snoqualmie Valley.
Doorways strives to develop and encourage community partnerships that seek and address the needs of our community. We were created to be in relationship, and as we listen to our community and serve alongside those already at work, we will more fully see God’s hand active in the Snoqualmie Valley.
Matthew 18:20, Romans 15:5-7, 1 Corinthians 13, Philippians 2:1-4

Our hope is to mobilize and unlock the many resources and gifts within our body.
At Cascade Covenant, we are thankful for the blessings we’ve been given. Recognizing that each has their own giftings and passions, but we are all called to participate in God’s mission, we strive to provide a wide variety of opportunities and resources from which to choose. We will seek to open our doors to our community as well as open doors for our body to serve alongside their neighbors, utilizing the gifts God has given us.
Matthew 14:22-26, John 1:14-16, Acts 4:32-34, II Corinthians 12:9, 1 Corinthians 12:1-17, Ephesians 2:19-22, Colossians 2:6-7
