Women’s Ministry Mission Statement
Cascade Covenant Church Women’s Ministry exists to minister to women by welcoming all women with love and encouraging them on their spiritual journey.
The women’s ministry is led by Connie Williams. We offer several women’s Community Groups, a Quilting Group, and several other special events throughout the year.

Community Groups
We have several groups in progress which started in January 2008. Five of these groups meet on Friday mornings at the church from 9:30 - 11:30. A children's program is offered concurrently, with nursery care for infants 6 months to 2 yrs. and classes for children 2 - 5 yrs. We have two groups doing the Way of Agape study by Nancy Missler, one group doing a study called 21 Days: Building Healthy Habits for Your Family by Criswell Freeman, a support group for Women Survivors of Sexual Abuse, and a Prayer Team. Two groups meet on Wednesday evening (no childcare provided), one doing the Way of Agape study and the other studying Philippians: A Life-Changing Encounter With God's Word. These groups meet in a private home. A summer Community Group is being planned, and new groups will be forming again in the fall for the Friday morning and Wednesday evening formats.
The Quilting Group meets at 7pm twice a month (the 1st and 3rd Friday) at the church. This group is led by Cheryl Chow .
The Potluck Group meets monthly on the second Friday of each month. This group is led by Stephanie Yotz .
Tea and Treasures A new venture for us this year, we are hosting a High Tea on June 7th 2 pm - 4 pm. Wear an old-fashioned hat and enter the drawing for Tea for Two at Sweet Addition in Issaquah. Bring a personal "treasure" and share it's story with the ladies at your table. Better yet, bring a friend for awesome entertainment, music, food and inspiration. Tickets go on sale soon.
Women of Faith is coming back to Seattle's Key Arena on June 27 & 28. Two days of faith building fun, music and laughter. Sign up in the Fireside Room at CCC or contact Jenny Donohue for tickets.
Annual Retreat In 2008 we had 80+ ladies attend our weekend away at beautiful Cascades Camp in Yelm, Wa. and we are looking forward to another great retreat in the early spring of 2009. Check the web site for updates.
