10 Things We Want CCC Newcomers to Know
1. We are praying for you! We pray every week that God will guide people to be with us on Sunday mornings. We pray that God will bless each person who joins us! If you are thinking about visiting us, we are praying for you! 2. You can relax and be yourself! Come as you are to seek and worship God! You don’t need to worry about being pressured, manipulated or embarrassed. We do not point out visitors or embarrass them in any way. Many of us were uninvolved with church prior to coming to CCC but have discovered a great place to take new steps in our walk with God. 3. You will meet some great people! God has blessed us with a growing group of people. We think you will find some fun and friendly people at CCC. 4. Your kids will love it! We have lots of young kids at CCC! 5. You will hear a relevant message that connects with your life! In each service we have a teaching message (usually from pastor John). This message will challenge and encourage you as you seek God and try to discover how He can make a difference in your life today. 6. We love music! Each worship service includes singing and music that can encourage and inspire us as we seek and worship God together. 7. We have lots of things going on! While our Sunday morning worship celebration is a central part of our church life, there are many other activities and events. You may want to visit us for one of our social events, seminars, retreats, small groups or youth groups. Check us out wherever you want! 8. You can call us! If you have any questions about what happens on Sunday mornings, please feel free to give us a call before you come. We understand coming to a new place/group is a risky venture. We would be glad to help you with any specific questions before you visit us. 9. There is great hope in Jesus Christ! With all the challenges of life we want you to know there is hope in Jesus Christ. We believe the greatest message any of us will ever hear is the message of life and hope in Jesus Christ. We want you to know that the God who created you in His image cares for you. He has revealed himself to you through his Son Jesus Christ. Through God’s grace in Christ we can all experience real hope for real life! 10. You are invited! We hope you will join us at CCC some Sunday soon! |
